Summer is full of bright moments of happiness. Despite the fact that summer is almost over, I made a short list of my top 5 products which I recommend not only for hot season. So, there are my favorite beauty products of this summer which hopefully can be useful for you as well. 1. CC cream from Smashbox In my opinion, foundation is the most important product on face. Of course for summer I was looking for something light and radiant. I adore this radiant Hollywood effect when your skin looks shiny and kinda wet. This product gave me even more. Despite sun protection which is SPF 30 it hides dark spots perfectly. On top of that this product is long-wearing so there is no need to waste product applying it again and again. Why you may dislike this product: As I said earlier CC Cream hides dark spots and small imperfections, but because of its medium coverage do not expect too much. If you have pimples or acne you need to use another foundation additionally. Also this CC cream is amazing primer so you can use it as base for your makeup or as sunscreen protection at least. 2. M.A.C. liquid eyeliner My next must-have definitely is an eyeliner. I am going crazy for perfect lines,so for me it was extremely important to choose the right product. By saying 'right' I mean comfortable in applying and long-lasting (up to 12 hours at least). Well, I can tell you that surprisingly I found even more than that. First of all due to it's liquidity and gorgeous thin brush it let you create any kind of lines (seriously any). Secondly it super long-wear! I apply it in the morning around 8 a.m. and by 10 p.m. it stays exactly the same. Isn't it a miracle? Moreover this eyeliner is waterproof. Even when I took a hot bath my eye makeup wasn't damaged. Why you may dislike this product: As soon as this product is long-wear it dries immediately, so on the one hand is perfectly fine, but on the other it may cause you a lot of troubles. Let's say that you are in a rush. Suddenly you made some mistake applying a product. As you can guess to remove it you need to make a huge effort. So for sure I don't recommend this product if you are new to applying eyeliner. First, try something which is easy removable. 3. Skin Therapy Oil from Palmer's I am a big fan of all kind of body lotions and moisturizers. First of all because my sensitive skin can't survive without proper moisturizing, and secondly because I always choose delicious smells so after applying a product I want to eat myself. I don't want to talk about amazing power of using natural oils cause too many things were already said concerning this topic, but I do want to talk about this certain Skin Therapy Oil. I have to assume that cocoa butter smell is better for winter cause it brings you to the atmosphere of warm coziness. However, I adore the smell of this product cause it doesn't stay concentrated for too long. As you can read on the bottle this product is made to prevent stretch marks, dryness and even helps to deal with scars. I don't use it every day because for me this oil is some sort of 'first aid,' but when I need to deal with dryness or damaged skin this oil solves all my issues. Why you may dislike this product: Oil is an oil. This one dries very fast comparing to other products I used before but still you should be ready that it will take certain time. 4. Rosarco Oil from Briogeo My dyed blonde hair requires a very special treatment so choosing right hair products sometimes drive me crazy. If you come to my place, you'll see how many products for hair I use and I promise you will be shocked... Yeah, I am a hair maniac. Anyway few month ago I was looking for really good oil for my hair which I can use daily. By saying 'good' I mean organic (paraben, SLS, sulfates free), light and comfortable in use. Sephora's consultant adviced me some products from other brands but unfortunately all of them contained sulfates and SLS. Then I found this mixture of oils: rosehip, coconut and argan which is top 3 oils for your hair. I really appreciate the fact that this product has a pulp on top so you can control an amount of product when use it. Why you may dislike this product: On the one hand this oil is light and non-sticky, but on the other one it makes my hair oily. Because of that I use this product only for 2 days after I washed my hair cause on the third day it adds effect of oily hair. You won't notice this effect if you have really dry hair. 5. MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Contour Trio from Sephora For sure modern world is crazy about contouring. I love contouring as a technique cause it can easily give you a natural sexy bright look without too much effort. I am not into drawing a new face on my face (sorry for repeating) cause I want people who surround still recognize me, but as I said I find contouring a great idea.
This baked sculpting contour trio is an amazing finding for somebody like me who doesn't want to spend an hour with contouring brush in front of a mirror. My favorite color in this trio is dark brown which you can see on a bottom of each palette. This color looks quite natural for everyone and creates a light shade anywhere you apply it. Why you may dislike this product: Maybe it's only me but I don't see any pigment in the lightest color which I guess is supposed to be a highlighter. That is why I recommend to buy highlighter separately in case you need it. And remember that the key tool in contouring is a brush so don't hesitate to but a right one. P.S. Thank you for reading. Of course, it isn't the whole range of my favorites, I just wanted to male a long story short so if you found this article useful I will make more reviews in future. See you here soon. |
